This was our Dessert, the Salted Egg Yolk Fries.
It was just another hot summer day, in the office on Tuesday.
What should we do to have some fun to try something new ! Then it hit me !, Aha lets try that famours Salted Egg Yolk Donuts at Fix !
Out comes the GPS to find this strangely remote place. and soon me and SY. are on the way.
Once we got there we discovered the picturesque cafe over looking a pool, with water slides, with a homely feel with bikes in the corner.
At the counter, we settled on these 3 things for our lunch menu.
1. Beef and Kimchi Naanwhich.
The sandwich is a combination of a naan, beef and kimchi. This combo was good, but strangely we like the chicken pie better.
2. Chicken Pie.
The chicken pie was excellent and it reminded me of the early days of the Magnolia bar a the former center point, with its large chunky and juicy bits.
Very Nice.
3. Golden Salted Egg Yolk Donuts.
And finally the dessert we where waiting for. When it came we where excited about it and althought we are supposed to dip the donut into the sauce, we just poured it over. Ha ! it looked really good.
