Its really simple, this is the guiding principle Gain weight when Calorie intake is > 10,000 steps a day. Lose weight when Calorie intake is < 10,000 steps a day.
Example of Getting FAT while walking this food weighs in at 16,556 steps a day, more then your National Step Challenge(NSC) 10,000 steps a day.
Which means that a single meal will require you to walk 16,556 step just to MAINTAIN your weight. To lose weight you need to walk a lot more, like maybe 20,000 steps, to create a caloric deficit and therefore burn the calories instead of storing it out.
