You gain experience by completing missions in campaign and fire team engagements. Depending on how well you perform and how fast you complete a mission will determine how much XP you earn. You start out at level 1 and work your way up to level 20. As you level up, you will unlock new weapon mods, weapons, equipment, B-mods, and Special Mods.
